My Buddy and I have just started entering workouts in to the site and it seems very good.  I noticed that on some profiles people were showing their latest workout results through widgets and wanted to do this.  Anyone know how to do it?

hi Huffunit, Welcome!  Just click on My FitSync and you'll see an icon for Widgets at the top of the page.  Click on that and follow the directions.  You might have a list of workouts so select the one you want to display.  Then goto Profile and click on Modify Profile Information.  Toward the bottom of the form is Workout Widget - select the one you wish to display in your Profile.

Hey Sister,

Thanks so much.  I guess the best place for me to look would have been right in front of my face lol.  Now all I gotta do is start logging all my workouts in here and I will be all set it definitely beats a notebook.

Damn that sounds like quite the challenge, but I am always down for that.  Ill have to go at it and see where I'm at.  This reminds me of when I challenged a female gymnast in college to a pushup contest and she made me eat my words lol.  I'm gonna stay humble and keep my mouth shut (for now anyway lol)

Is it possible to add this widget to my igoogle page? If not, are there future plans for a Google gadget?
Thanks

We haven't tested the Widgets on iGoogle but compatibility all depends on whether the site allows live Widget updates.  You can try pasting the code for your Widget to see if iGoogle will allow it.

Is it possible to add all your workouts?  Is it compiling just the data from the one workout selected?  Why wouldnt we want to track all of our workouts and add them together.

I think I know what you're trying to do.  I use a combination of widgets.  There's the workout widget which displays one workout per widget and the other is the profile widget that gives a summary of everything.  I use a couple of the workout widgets on my buddy's blog page so he can see my swimming, cycling, and two gym workouts that I do regularly.  Next to those I have my profile widget which shows mileage and training volume and rankings (still beating him!).

Another option is Facebook feeds and wall posts.  I'm not a huge Facebook guy, maybe I check the thing once a month, but I have it set up to send a feed each time I do a workout (it'll send a feed for every workout you do if you want) so buds who are into facebook can see what I do.  There are also Twitter feeds but haven't tried that yet; call me square but I ahven't gotten into twitter yet.

Hello Tim-
Yes, you can add all of your workouts but each workout widget displays data from one workout only.  However, there is no limit to the number of workout widgets you can post in blogs or elsewhere.  The profile widget will display a summary of your past 30 days activity.  As other posters have mentioned, we also have  Twitter and Facebook feeds which can be set to send an automatic feed of every workout you perform or only the ones you allow.

Thanks for checking in, let us know if you have other questions.  If you'd like a private response you can contact support at info@fitsync(dot)com.
