 Roll Eyes GOODNESS GRACIOUS...

First: Hi to all!!

This site is quite difficult to navigate.. Anyways.. I am quite new to FF, and joined because i felt that my body is older than my age!  Grin

Sister of Kong: I have no idea why my age is 107, i thought i've changed that..
Everett: My doggie wish she can join us too, very playful kid she is..  Cheesy
Steele: I don't have much friends here, so i go to the gym alone. Have got two friends who are FF dropout..  Undecided

Anyways, hadn't been logging in, been darned busy!

Long life to butter cookies! They are just soooooooooo tempting..

Hey Butter Cookie, your doggie is very cute, almost as cute as my cat.  Does she like butter cookies too?

Don't worry about the age of your body, its the youth in your heart that matters.  Now put down those cookies, hit the gym, and feel your strength and power making your body as young as your heart.  Stick with it and your bod will be 23 real soon.  No matter what our age we all need to get out and play more!

heya butters
keep posting those pics ... and we'll watch the progress of the cutie ..  you can do those before and after pics so you can be proud of your achievement when you're a teen again  Smiley  I agree with Paul - it's your attitude that determines your "age".  People who are young at heart always come across as younger (than their chronological age).  They ahve more energy and seem to love life more.  That's why I enjoy working out - keeps my energy up.

Hello ppl..

Been busy. As usual. That's why i couldn't log in here often. Tongue

Anyways.. Everett: I can't post my "before" pics here coz i don't have any.. weight wasn't (still isn't) my main concern when i joined, so i didn't bother doing that.. BUT i just found out i could wear my old pants again, that's a bonus!  Grin Grin I'm looking forward to maintain my weight, and yet gaining more strength and stamina and to keep enjoying gym coz like you said, working out keeps the energy up!

Paul: I won't give up butter cookies for sure, but maybe just limiting myself to 5 cookies per month (small ones, don't worry). And my dog is practically sensitive/allergic to everything she eats.. so, no butter cookies.. don't want her to become fussy with food as well, already a fussy eater!

S.of.Kong: Ah..... well..sorry, coz im new to some terms, maybe i'm not answering right..usual activities will be the usual strength training (from arms to lower back to legs) and cardio (which is either my fav rowing, X-train, or cycling.) What do you do?

Okay ppl, all the best, happy training, happy having fun y'all!   Cheesy

I love cycling!  But it's got to be on the right roads cuz I don't like traffic much (too stressful).  So I go to a park where they close the roads to cars on weekends.  When I'm in the gym, I row too - such a total body workout - and I mix it up with the elliptical/cross trainer and strength training (mainly free weights).  I like lat pulldown to strengthen my upper back, lateral raise to keep those jiggly bits in my upper arms at bay, dumbbell fly to keep my chest firm Roll Eyes, bodyweight squat to keep my butt tight  Roll Eyes, hmmm all that work to not get flabby but seriously exercising really lifts my spirits so I enjoy it a lot.

Hey hey sister of Kong:
Been realllly busy.. Exhausted too.. I still don't get the names of the exercises that i do.. i can remember all the names of the bones and the terminologies that i need to know in my job, but the exercises are way too complicated..i think my trainer is going to knock my head soon..  Grin

I get to go to the gym only twice a week, which i feel is not enough.. But i work 12 hours a day, and with a (kind of sick) dog to care for, sometimes i could only go once a week.  Undecided

Anyways, will be away for some time again.. take care ppl!  Roll Eyes

UR doggie is sooo sweet!  I bet she's a big baby and needs lots of attention.  I'

Don worry bout the names of the exercises; it's really pretty easy.  Just look and see what main body part they work (chest, arms, shoulders) and then look at the video to see how to do it.  Set your My FitSync page to show your muscle group report so that way you can see if you're getting a balanced workout.  U don want to do all chest and no back or all shoulders and no legs.

Do you have FitSync on your mobile or PDA?  I have it on my phone so I can see the vids when I'm in the gym and the ones that don't have a vid have notes explaining how to do it so that really helps.  Good luck.

hey butters,
Is your cutie doggie all  better yet?  I have a high stress job too and I find that I NEED to exercise coz that's the best way to manage stress.  I always feel so much better afterwards.  Research shows that the body/brain creates endorphins (or some happy chemical) when you exercise so your spirits get lifted, way high.   Wink  When I travel, I try to work out in the hotel gym.  You can ask your trainer to give you some workouts to do or pick some from the library.  If there's no gym, I exercise in my room andI pick some workouts from the FitSync workout library that don't require equipment (bodyweight exercises).  I take a look at the videos and that way I learn the exercise and the name.  I log everything in my iPAQ.  If you track your workouts, you'll  be able to see your progress!  Do you have a PDA or hand phone?  Share with us how you're doing Smiley
