Hey Kevin, thanks for checking in and for the heads up on the OS4 update.  Try this - delete the FitSync icon from your main screen.  Then go to http://fitsync.com/iphone and login with your FitSync username and password.  Then click the + on your browser and select 'add to home screen' to reinstall the icon on your home screen.  See if that sorts it out and thanks for the kind words!  Glad you like the app.

Aaaaaahhh.  Huh
The app worked fine until i left the house and went to the gym, before i left home i set up my workouts for the day and logged in on the app to check that the new data had been picked up and it had. So far So Good!

Then when i got to the gym the app was unresponsive, my workouts for the day were no longer showing on the workouts screen and when i pressed the "Workouts" button and moved to the workouts lits view the workouts list would not scroll, i could see only one screen full even though i have about 3 screens full normally!

i logged out and back in and this didnt work, i restarted the ipod but all to no avail.

since arriving back home i tried again but there was no change and i could't even connect the app to the the internet even though other web apps all worked fine.

i redownloaded and installed the app from the app store which didn't fix the issue.

I then recreated the fix that was recommended yesterday and this time it didn't work.

Any ideas anyone? Huh

Hi Kevin, good to hear the thing sorted itself out.  Were any other apps running when you were having trouble?  We're doing some testing on OS4 to see if there are some quirks that could be causing problems.  So far, nothing but keep us posted if you encounter any more trouble.

Are you scrolling up/down or wiping right/left?  We maded some changes a while back in the way we recognize scrolling and wiping so when using either make sure you go north/south or east/west because sometimes running your finger at an angle across the screen will confuse the thing.

Again, thanks for checking in and letting us know what you're seeing.  If we discover any quirks in OS4 we'll put the updates live in the app so next time you connect the FitSync app will update automatically.

hey for what its worth, I got trouble with my OS4 update too affecting some other apps and screwing up my email.  Maybe Apple will fix it for everyone.  Goes with the territory sort of like MS "upgrades" jacking up stuff until they sort it out.  So far no trouble with my Fitsync.

When the problem was happening i tested it with nothing else running in the background and the results were the same. i have had a couple of problems with other apps just closing as soon as they are opened though.

i was trying to scroll up and down with one finger. Even if i am strictly parallel to the edges of the iPod it still doesn't work. Yet it works perfectly with 2 fingers.

Of course i understand that these kinds of operating system updates cause problems for the developers, i'm just happy to have it working again.
