Todd, good to hear you love FitSync but we'll have to plead guilty to not having a very fancy Blackberry app.  We hear you loud and clear.  Especially if you switched from a Windows Mobile version, which has exercise libraries and videos and vitals, etc. you've probably found the Java app to be rather, um.. basic BUT at least it's better than paper  Wink

We've been sketching out a Blackberry app (because they definitely have some cool devices here in the US) but it will probably be 2nd quarter of 2009 before we actually release a version as sexy as our iPhone or Windows Mobile version.  Until then, hang in there and we'll keep everyone updated as we get closer to release.

We'll also be looking for some victims, oops, I mean volunteers to beta test so when we're ready we'll set beta testers up with some demo accounts so they don't screw up their real data.

Happy Holidays and Best in Health to All,

Hi Kaleb, we just posted an answer to your question in the mobile apps section of the forum.

FitSync's Java version will run on most but not all Blackberry devices.  One problem is that carriers often modify devices and/or filter the Internet access so that will disrupt or block install of our app.

When you go to http://fitsync.com/install we will auto detect your device and serve up the correct FitSync mobile app based on your device.  Sometimes, due to carrier mods, we'll detect a Windows Mobile device when it's actually a Java based device and therefore the wrong app gets downloaded so it won't work.

If you have problems, try doing a reinstall and make sure our device detect matches your device.  If it doesn't you can manually select the correct FitSync mobile app version.  If it still won't run it's likely due to carrier mods or net access restrictions.
