ok everybody I have to call "shenanigans" on a few people and personally challenge 'em to meet me at the track, the pool and the gym and see if they can really hit the numbers they claim in Rankings! Roll Eyes

3 Mile Run:
Kyle Washington - You ran a 50mph pace for 3 miles!  Awesome, you're faster than my car!
Hub G - You were dragging at only 48mph for 3 miles but not bad, still beat the world record by 10 MINUTES!
Tyler Tass and Mark David - Hmmm...you guys are slowpokes only beating the world record by 3 minutes - slacker!

Props to Marshall Quick for running a fast time and being the only honest guy in d top 5!  Your name suits you  Smiley

Pushups and Body Weight Squats:
Tyler Tass - 1,000 pushups and 1,000 bodyweight squats AND you beat the world record in d 5,000 by 3 minutes all on the same day!  Wow.

come on guys, this is an honor system for real people so please be honest and use it to improve yourself and make friends and help get others fired up about fitness.  You'll make friends here but if you're just going to screw around,  go and play some video games where you can lift a million pounds and date hot chicks and fight lizards.

Ok, I feel better.  hey FitSync guys do you ever ask to verify when someone says they run faster than a car or swim faster than a boat?  Just askin.  I know, can you tell I'm a competitive kind of gal Wink

It looks like the FitSync guys heard you loud and clear Tai Hau.  I was still trying to psych myself up to attack Paul's record let alone twice that.

Let's get some real competition going on Rankings!

Hey Paul, I'm almost ready to challenge that crown.

Cheers,

David

Way to go, Tai Hau!  I think we should elect you our official bouncer for the rankings.  My numbers are real but can I meet you at the pool or track anyway  Grin

David, you've been gracious in letting me keep my 500 crown for a while.  Been doing mostly rehab for my busted up shoulder, no riding, so I could use some motivation to hit the bw squats again.

Paul

PS - Tai Hau, try not to embarass us guys too much when you get serious about the squats

Tai Hau, thanks for your vigilance.  We've removed the questionable rankings and advised the submitters accordingly.

The FitSync Rankings, as you correctly stated, are based on an honor system.  It is expected that submitters will only rank what they have personally achieved.  As we can not monitor every submission we rely on our users to alert us to questionable activity.  In some cases the submission may be an honest mistake by the submitter such as inputting 3 minutes instead of 30.  When we remove questionable submissions we give the user the opportunity to either correct the submission or submit documentation of their performance.

The objective of our FitSync Rankings is to provide a means for our users to rank themselves against standards, challenge each another, and be inspired to perform to the best of their ability whether they are world record contenders or returning to fitness after a long layoff.  We appeal to all members to respect the integrity of Rankings by only submitting what they have achieved.

We thank all participants for submitting their performances and encourage each of you to strive to always set a personal best!

Yours in Health,

John Morgan

ok Paul I'm not quite ready to meet you at the pool or track yet.  I've seen your numbers and I'm not quite there yet, but you better watch over your shoulder cuz I'm comin for ya. Wink

speaking of the shoulder what in the world did you do to yourself?

I've been watching your profile for a while and see that you use to always put up some pretty big training volume numbers.  But for the last year you seem to have slacked off big time.  Good thing I didn't bust on ya becuz it sounds like something serious.

and David, whatever are you waiting for ?  You're not afraid of a grrl are you?  scaredy cat  Cheesy

OK Tai Hau I'll be waiting, anytime you're ready to hit the bw squats.

Here's my story.  Busted up my shoulder big time at the end of a long training ride.  A mile from home guy pulls out from a parking space without looking and tries a 3 point turn in the middle of rush hour traffic.  I hit the deck hard on my shoulder and elbow.  Witnesses said they saw my bike and I flying through the air over the car.  So, 3 hours in the ER then a few months later major surgery and 6 months (and counting) of rehab.  In case you're interested, shoulder was wrecked and needed a Bankart repair, SLAP repair and a bunch of anchors and other stuff.  Doc said "it was a mess in there."

Going from intensive daily training to zero for a year is brutal but when I start feeling sorry for myself I'm reminded of folks who have it worse than me.  My tri career could be over along with a few other sports but the legs work so I'll be hitting the BW squats again soon.

Hey David, jump in and put up a big number for Tai Hau to shoot at - counting on you to defend our manhood.

Tai Hau, whoa...them's fightin' words.  But...I will start to be afraid when a certain girl starts to approach 400 in BW squats.  Until, I will take my time psyching myself up to challenge the reigning king of BW squats.  Stay tuned.
